Job Employment Title: Installer
Job Description: This job consists of creating and
installing a Telecommunication pathway and
installation of a Fiber Optic cable from an
entrance point within an apartment or Condo
complex to individual living units. Because the
units may be occupied, the job requires the
ability to interact with customers in a
professional manner.
Pay Rate: Earnings are based on Unit Pay.
Availability of work and work speed will determine
total wages.
Requirements:
Willing to work as a team on unit pay
Truck or cargo van and working tools
Prefer work history in construction environment
Ability to Read Blue prints
Knowledge of Basic telecom industry
Experience with Fiber Optic Splicing a plus
Have ability to do production reporting on forms
Must pass Drug test
Must provide I-9 Immigration certification and
documentation
References required
Must live in proximity of East Tampa
Self Starter with good work ethic
Honest, Dependable
Education Required:
High School Graduate or Equivalent
Job Description:
This job requires visits to new or existing
Apartment or Condominium Complexes to gather
information that will be used to prepare a
comprehensive report. This report will provide
detailed information about how a Fiber Optic
Distribution system would be installed in the
complex in order to provide FIOS access to the
individual living units.
The report will provide the basis for a
presentation to the Apartment or Condominium Owner
for approval.
Knowledge of Telecom
Information Transport Systems
Strong Computer and
administration skills
Knowledge of and
experience with Microsoft Power Point
Transportation
required
Must live in
proximity of East Tampa
Ability to Read Blue
prints
Must pass Drug test
Must provide I-9
Immigration certification and documentation
